Children's Liturgy

We are taking steps towards bringing back the Chidren's Liturgy on Sunday mornings.  The Children's Liturgy is a time for young children (ages 3-8) to learn about the gospel message on a level that is equal to the their understanding, while the older children and adults participate in the Liturgy of the Word at Mass.  In order for us to provide the Children's Liturgy, we need volunteers to help teach.  As with other ministiries, volunteers would be scheduled to teach on certain weekends so no one person would be repsonible for every week.

Please prayerfully consider giving your time and talent to this ministry.  You do not have to be an expert in the faith--everything to be taught will be given to you.  In addition to having a desire to work with children, volunteers are required to have a criminal background check and to complete a training class on Protecting God's Children.  You must also be a Catholic in good standing with the church.

We are praying for the right people to answer the call to work with the youngest parishioners--to help them grow in faith and lead them ever closer to God.  Please call for more information, or to get started in sharing your love for Jesus and shaping the future of our church.
